The Bangladesh Beekeepers Association (BBKA) is the national association of Bangladesh’s beekeepers — the guardians of the country’s pollinators. BBKA unites beekeepers, scientists, policymakers and communities to safeguard bees and strengthen the future of food security and rural prosperity.
Our Mission
Bees are essential to Bangladesh’s agriculture, biodiversity and rural economy. Through education, advocacy, research collaboration and direct support to beekeepers, BBKA works every day to ensure that the buzz of healthy colonies continues to nourish our nation.
Our Pillars
Conservation First
We champion bee-friendly practices, habitat protection, and reduced pesticide impact so that pollinators thrive for generations.
Training & Capacity
Hands-on training programs equip new and experienced beekeepers with modern, sustainable techniques and business skills.
Community Network
From Satkhira to Sylhet, our network of district coordinators and members creates a strong, supportive national family.
Global Voice
BBKA represents Bangladesh at international forums including Apimondia 2025, bringing global knowledge home and sharing our story.
