Cumilla, May 20, 2025:
On the occasion of World Bee Day, the Bangladesh Beekeepers Association (BBKA) organized an awareness program today in Cumilla.
With the slogan "Bee Inspired by Nature to Nourish Us All," the program aimed to raise awareness about the conservation of bees and the development of the honey industry in Bangladesh.
Speakers at the event emphasized that bees play a vital role not only in honey production but also in crop pollination and biodiversity conservation. They urged everyone to come forward to protect and conserve bees for a healthier ecosystem.
It is worth mentioning that World Bee Day is observed globally on May 20 every year to highlight the importance of bees and to promote initiatives for their protection and the development of the beekeeping sector.
